Responsibilities

We seek your expertise to:

• Work collaboratively to architect and lead the implementation of a fully automated secure
  deployment pipeline
• Implement and maintain automated deployment, monitoring, and recovery tools and processes
• Implement stack-wide health monitoring tools to proactively provide insight into maintaining and
  operating highly available services
• Solve problems relating to mission-critical services and build automation to prevent problem
  recurrence
• Support product development according to service design principles, and apply technology
  pragmatically including testing of hypotheses through analysis of user behaviour
• Identify and guide the development of tools and processes to continually improve the team’s
  productivity
• Participate in wider internal and external communities to enable digital transformation and new ways
  of working

Key to Being Successful

You'll likely do well with:

• Exceptional understanding of modern secure technology stacks including infrastructure provisioning,
  storage, deployment and testing
• Proven track record of deploying and supporting enterprise service architectures, placing a strong
  emphasis on automation
• Strong technical security design and implementation across infrastructure and the deployment
  pipeline
• Deep experience of best practice application and infrastructure health monitoring and maintaining
  and operating highly available applications
• Experience with cloud providers and technologies - primarily AWS and containerisation with Docker,
  though experience in Azure, Kubernetes, and PaaS such as Cloud Foundry or OpenShift beneficial
• Experience with serverless computing and related technologies
• Strong ability with automation tools and scripting with shell, node.js or Python
• Lead implementer of rapid development, continuous integration and continuous deployment
  toolchains
• Willingness to contribute back to the community, e.g., through conferences, meet-ups or
  open-source projects
